Returns and Refunds

How to start a return

To begin a return or report an issue, please contact our support team at support@areumda.com

Please include your order number and a brief description of the issue.

Returns sent to us without prior contact will not be accepted.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Damaged, incorrect, or missing items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item is damaged, incorrect, or missing, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can resolve the issue quickly.

To help us investigate shipping issues, please provide:

• A photo of the shipping waybill attached to the package
• A photo of the entire shipping box with the waybill visible
• A photo of the product in question

Please keep the original shipping box and waybill until the issue has been resolved.

Note: If the outer shipping box is damaged but the product itself remains intact and usable, the item will not be considered damaged.

Return eligibility

We offer a 14-day return window from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

• Be unused and in the same condition that you received it
• Be in the original packaging
• Include all original tags, authenticity cards, samples, or accessories
• Be accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Because we ship directly from Korea, returns must be sent back to our Seoul warehouse.

Returns may be subject to additional costs including:

• Two-way shipping fees
• Carrier handling fees
• Customs or import duties
• Warehousing or processing charges

Areumda does not provide return shipping labels.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Non-returnable items

To maintain hygiene and safety standards, certain items cannot be returned:

• Sale items
• Gift cards
• Personalized or special-order products
• Hazardous materials or flammable products

Packaging notice

Korean beauty brands frequently update or renew their packaging.

If a product differs slightly from the website images due to a manufacturer packaging update, it remains authentic and is not eligible for return.

Additionally, some products may be shipped without an individual outer box if this is how they are supplied by the manufacturer.

Shipping issues and lost packages

Recipient responsibility

Areumda is not responsible for shipping issues caused by incorrect information provided by the customer. This includes:

• Incorrect addresses
• Refusal of delivery
• Absence during delivery attempts

In these situations, shipping costs will not be refunded.

Lost shipments

If a shipment is marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but cannot be located, compensation will follow the transportation policy of the shipping carrier.

Customs and import duties

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees determined by your local government.

These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an order to understand any potential charges.
